Required Documents To Apply
An ordinary Passport scan (bio page) with a validity for at least 6 months from the date of entry into Qatar.
A passport-sized photo.
Airline reservation. Remember it must be a confirmed reservation.
Proof of accommodation. When staying at a hotel, it is necessary to provide a copy of a hotel reservation. If you are staying with a Qatari resident, it is necessary an invitation letter from this resident along with his/her Qatar resident visa copy, Qatar ID, and his/her passport bio page. If you are staying with a Qatari national, it is necessary to provide a copy of his/her Qatari national ID and invitation letter.
Proof of residence: e.g. Resident card, Resident visa, Utility bill, Tenancy contract, Phone bill, Credit/Debit card bill, the official printed address page on passport.
Proof of valid visitor visa held for any one of the following countries: Australia, Canada, GCC, New Zealand, Schengen countries, USA or UK. Visa must be valid for at least 30 days after arrival from the date of entry into Qatar.
Important Instructions
The validity of an ETA is up to 30 days after arrival or until the passport expires, whichever comes first.
You must have an ordinary passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of your arrival in Qatar.
Passports with a single name will not be accepted. Applicants need to have a minimum of two names in the passport to apply for a Qatar visa.
You should print a copy of your ETA and carry it with you when you travel to Qatar.
You must buy your airline tickets before applying for a Qatar ETA. This information is required in the application.

On September 27th, 2017, the Government of Qatar has implemented the Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA). This new system allows eligible visitors to apply online.
It is valid for up to 30 days after arrival or until the passport expires, whichever comes first. The information entered will be sent electronically to the Qatar Department of Immigration and we will send your Qatar ETA online via email.
