All travelers, except for the ones that are citizens of visa-exempt countries, need to apply for a Cuba visa to enter the country. Lucky for you, the citizens of Colombia are eligible for a Cuba Tourist Visa, which you can apply for and obtain online. You are no longer required to visit an embassy, and you should be done with the application process is just a few minutes. Aid-Air can provide the help you need for a smooth and fast process.

Requirements

The requirements for a Cuba Tourist Card are pretty straightforward, and there is nothing on that list out of the ordinary. Aid-Air will not ask you to upload any documents while you apply online, and all you need is to fill in an application form. A passport is also required during the application process. However, once you arrive in Cuba, you will be asked to provide the following documents:

  • Passport – the passport you have needs to maintain its validity for at least another 6 months from the date of arrival in Cuba. If it does not, you need to get a new one.

  • Tourist Card – the document that Aid-Air will send to you via postal mail.

  • A flight itinerary both to and from Cuba.

  • Travel insurance – this is a rule that began to take effect back in 2010. If you do not have travel insurance, you have the option to purchase one once you arrive in Cuba.

Keep in mind that minors need to have their own Tourist Card as well.

Cuba visa for the citizens of Colombia – the processing times and prices

They are as follows:

  • Standard processing – your application is processed, and your Tourist card arrives in 3 to 5 business days. This processing time costs $55.

  • Rush processing – your Tourist card arrives within 1 to 3 business days, and the cost is $75.

  • Super Rush processing – you will have your Cuba Tourist card in 1 business day, and you will be charged $95. The shipping is included in the price in all three cases.

You can plainly see for yourself that getting a Cuba visa for the citizens of Colombia could not be easier. When you apply online, Aid-Air will take care of everything. The Tourist Card allows you to spend 30 days in Cuba, but you can extend your trip with another 30 days once you are inside the country. As for entries, you get just one.
