What is a Group e-Visa?

This is a tourist authorization that is issued to tourist groups of at least 2 people traveling together to China. Note that you won’t receive a sticker on your passport like the traditional Chinese Tourist Visa.

How long can voyagers with New Zealand passport remain in China with a Group e-Visa?

New Zealanders can enter China for 30 days in Total. This visa must not be used for paid work or employment.

What are the documents required to apply?

To apply for a China Group e-Visa you will need to gather a few documents that maybe you already have. The list is short:

  • At least 2 applicants traveling together.

  • A digital passport scan of each visitor. Remind that your passport must have at least another 6 months of validity left.

  • A recent passport photograph (this must be in color).

  • Return flight ticket.

  • Copy of the booking or an invitation letter from your Chinese host.

  • A credit/debit card or a PayPal account to pay for your request.

  • Valid postal address.

How long is the China Group e-Visa valid?

It has a validity of 30 days after arrival.

What are the processing times and fees?

How does the Group e-Visa work?

This visa is granted virtually by the Chinese Government.

How long does it take to apply for a China Group electronic visa?
